With Imangi Studios’ Temple Run becoming one of the biggest hits last year in the App Store (as well as on Android via Google Play), the developer has churned out a sequel and has already been downloaded over 20 million times in the first four days on the App Store.
Now that is some love right there, and with the game being a free download, there’s no reason not to check it out.
“The response from fans has been overwhelming,” says Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi. “We are thrilled players want more of the Temple Run universe, and we hope to grow and expand the game over the coming months.”
In this sequel, the game features high-res graphics, achievements, player powers and new obstacles. Unlike the first game, which only had you jumping, sliding and dodging obstacles, Temple Run 2 forces you to also fly down zip lines and maneuver mine carts in a new locale that features curvy roads, valleys and hills.
Temple Run 2 is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
