Blizzard has updated it’s blog on the community page for Diablo III that details the v1.0.7 patch, which dives into PvP.
The upcoming patch will add PvP duels to the game, which can be achieved by conversing with Nek the Brawler at the inn in New Tristram. Once players have spoken to him, everyone will be sent to the Scorched Chapel, where a new zone will be all set to go for those duels.
Duels will support up to four players and it’s every man for himself. There are no rewards to speak of from these battles, outside of being able to talk smack after you win. As Blizzard puts it, the duels are for “bragging rights, without the potential for griefing as it existed in Diablo II.”
