Ubisoft has today released the second downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed III, in the form of the Hardened Battle Pack.
The DLC, which is available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, adds new playable characters and maps for the game’s multiplayer mode. The three new characters are the Governor, the Highlander and Coyote Man. New maps include Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre. The content will also land on Windows PC on Jan. 15, while a Wii U version will be released at a later date, according to Ubisoft.
Gamers who already own the AC3 Season Pass will get to download it at no additional cost today, with the Season Pass offering up about a 25% savings on each DLC. You can purchase the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass for 2400 Microsoft Points or for $29.99 on the PlayStation Network and PC.
Future Assassin’s Creed III downloadable content releases will feature The Tyranny of King Washington, an all-new single-player campaign told through three episodic content packs, which lets gamers experience an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution.
