Capcom Updating Street Fighter X Mega Man

Capcom has taken to its community site to answer some long standing questions regarding the recently released Street Fighter X Mega Man.

One of the key points is that there is an update, dubbed V2, coming shortly, which won’t be adding any content, but rather addressing some issues that fans have come across.

Given the tight dev window, we know there are a few rough edges left, even with a dozen people looking at this. To that end, we can say we’re working on a V2 that will release soon and hopefully address some of those known issues. It’s not adding content, but we’ve been reading responses and can “tighten up” a few things before the end of the year,” said Brett Elston.

Elston also mentioned that initial download requests for the game ended up crashing the website, while also mention that he too is looking for something new; instead of another 8-bit style for Mega Man’s next outing.

You can check out the rest of the Q&A session here.
