Telltale Games, which clearly has a Game of the Year or at the very least, Downloadable Game of the Year candidate on its hands, has released the first episode of The Walking Dead as a free download via Xbox Live.

There doesn’t appear to be a set cut off date but we can only assume it will at the very least, remain free until the end of the year.
