The masses have spoken and Irrational Games has announced the winning artwork that will be used for the reversible cover art for Bioshock Infinite.
According to the publisher, this Songbird design earned 38% of the total votes from fans who voted on the company’s website.
Of course, the reason for the alternate artwork is that hardcore fans were upset with the generic looking boxart that was initially chosen, causing online petitions to sprout online for a change. Irrational Games’ Ken Levine had stated that the original art was selected as a way to make the game appear more appealing to a wider audience.
