The New Zealand iOS App Store has been updated with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

The game, originally on 3DS, features memorable tunes from the FF series that you swipe along to the beat with. The iOS version features a new “Quest Medley” mode, that has random pairings of “field” and “battle” levels with random difficulty that changes when you play. There’s also a new composition mode.

While the iOS version is free to download, it only comes with two songs and 13 characters. More songs and characters can be bought through in-app purchases either individually or as a bundle based on the series, so expect to drop some money if you like quite a few songs.
