Team Ninja Announces Dead or Alive 5 PLUS and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PLUS for PS Vita
Some good news for PS Vita fans for once. Team Ninja has revealed that the hit series, Dead or Alive will be making its way to the Vita with Dead or Alive 5 PLUS set to launch in the first quarter of 2013, and to make it a double whammy, Team Ninja also announced that the highly anticipated sequel to Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PLUS will also be making its way to the somewhat under-performing handheld.
Dead or Alive 5 PLUS will bring the signature fighting style of the popular series to the Vita with system specific features that incorporate touch controls. Team Ninja have said that this installment will be faster, bloodier and more beautiful than ever, and even claim that it looks better than its big console counterparts.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PLUS will apparently bring the most intense, action packed game to the Vita yet, and once again will be faster, bloodier and more beautiful than ever (anyone else notice a theme here?) Ninja Gaiden 2 returns to the Sigma series to prevent the resurrection of the evil Archfiend by hunting down the demon statue which has been stolen by the wicked Black Spider Ninja Clan. A new intuitive control system, which uses both the front and rear screens, and which will also implement motion and touch screen controls has been added to make the game play better than ever.
Both of these games will be published by TECMO KOEI America, and they will be available in the first quarter of 2013. Are there any Vita fans out there who are looking forward to these games? Better yet, are there any PS Vita fans at all? Let us know in the comment section below.
