Get your cheesy poofs ready… no, it’s not time to get a little hiiiiiiiiiigh with Towelie… THQ has released a new trailer for the highly-anticipated South Park: The Stick of Truth.
It’s no secret that South Park creators and animators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have been openly critical of the prior South Park games, claiming it was just their characters slapped on crappy games, and the licensed games didn’t have that “South Park feel.” So when they announced that they would be heavily involved with the creation of Stick of Truth, it brought a sigh of relief from fans of the long-running Comedy Central cartoon and gamers alike.
Stone and Parker’s goal, they have said, was to design a game that worked like an interactive episode of South Park, with its style of animation, humor, and crassness. Check out the trailer below, because we think they’re well on their way to accomplishing that.
Telll your friends Mr. Hat and Mr. Slave that South Park: The Stick of Truth is slated for a March 5, 2013 release on XBox 360, PS3, and PC.
