Capcom Announces Street Fighter X Mega Man

With the Street Fighter turning 25 and Mega Man following suit, Capcom has announced a sick-looking 8-bit crossover between Mega Man and Street Fighter, dubbed Street Fighter X Mega Man.

No, this isn’t some fighting game like Street Fighter X Tekken.  Instead, this is an all new Mega Man game with 8 new bosses that include stages and Street Fighter characters such as Ryu, Blanka, Chun Li and more.

The game is set to be released on Dec. 17 for PC via Capcom’s Community page and will be absolutely free!

Now check out the announcement trailer below!

This actually started as a fan project. Seems that if fans want a Mega Man game, they have to make it themselves. Looks cool though, and anything that can build up hype for Mega Man is awesome to me.
