GotGame Daily News Update: Wii Keeps On Comming And More

[jwplayer mediaid=”61800″]

Welcome to the GotGame Daily News Update. Today is Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

First a couple quick news bytes.

An online petition for a PC port for GTA V has reached over 75,000 signatures. Dost thou notice the clamor Rockstar?

The Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC is out now for the PC, PS3, and XBOX 360.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be getting some new levels that you might remember from previous Mario games in the form of free DLC.

Nintendo will be charging Japanese users 100 yen, or $1.22, for the ability to change channels using their Wii U game pad. No news about charges for other countries. And here I thought Nintendo couldn’t become any more of a money grubber.

Now to your regularly scheduled news cast.

Nintendo is getting cocky this holiday season with another redesign of the Wii. The new/old console will be $99.99, has no internet connection, doesn’t play gamecube discs, but does come with all of the accessories that a normal Wii comes with, including a Wiimote Plus. The console is black with red trim, and the Wiimote and Nunchuck are both red. Unfortunately for the few of you cheapos who were looking forward to this inexpensive console, it’s only available to Canada. Are any of you planning to move there?

In other Nintender news, a blue 3DS XL bundle will be coming with Mario Kart 7 preinstalled for $199.99 supposedly. It’s also rumored that the regular 3DS will be getting a price drop to $139.99 in another couple of weeks, while other sources say specifically that target will be dropping the price of the 3DS to 129.99. Instead of price drops why not revamp the DS line entirely?

The Dunwall City Trials expansion DLC for Dishonored will be coming out on December 11 for only $5. The DLC will include 10 new challenge maps that will test your MIGHT…actually it will test combat, stealth, and mobility skills. Online leaderboards to track progress against other players will be included as well.

Finally, Bethesda also detailed the second and third DLC expansions for Dishonored. Saying that they will launch in 2012 and both will be story focused. While no information is available on the third DLC yet, Bethesda has revealed that the second DLC will be centered around Daud, the leader of a legion of supernatural assassins called The Whalers. Sounds like a bunch of obese people or crazed old white men who lost their legs to whales. Sheesh.

That’s it for your GotGame Daily News Update. Thanks for listening!
