Blizzard Releases Content Update for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria

Blizzard has just released a new patch for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, dubbed Landfall, which adds new content to the expansion.

The update includes the following additions:

Horde vs. Alliance Storyline

  • · Horde vs. Alliance conflict ramps up with a new series of daily quests in Krasarang Wilds
    • · Players will defend their outpost and attack the opposing faction’s outpost
    • · Slaying rival NPCs and opposing faction players earns commendations that can be used for base upgrades, such as additional guards, buffs, and more
  • · Players will learn more of the Pandaren lore and learn more about the Horde vs. Alliance conflict that will be continued in future content updates

Two new factions offering cool new rewards

  • · Operation: Shieldwall (Alliance)
  • · Dominance Offensive (Horde)

New Scenarios will expand the Mists of Pandaria storyline

  • · 5 new Scenarios (2 unique scenarios for each faction; 1 playable by either faction)
  • · Assault on Zan’Vess (Horde and Alliance)
  • · Lion’s Landing and A Little Patience (Alliance)
  • · Domination Point and Dagger in the Dark (Horde)

Pet Battles System Upgrades

  • · Enhancements to the Pet Battles System UI that players have been asking for, such as improved sorting, pet levels revealed on the map, and more
  • · Battle-stones now available to upgrade quality of pets
  • · New rare pets drop from vanilla raid bosses: Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, and Naxxramas

Brawler’s Guild

  • · Very exclusive solo PvE “underground” fighting that’s invitation only
  • · Gladiator-style fights against Azeroth’s toughest creatures
  • · Fights get progressively more difficult — and prestige increases — as battles progress

Legendary Quest Line Continued

  • · Raid groups are no longer necessary to enter pre-Mists of Pandaria raid dungeons
