Hulu + Now Available On Wii U

A couple of days before the Wii U launched, Nintendo announced that live streaming services for the Wii U would not be available at launch. They claimed that it would not be until some time in December before services like Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, and Hulu + would be available. If you all recall Netflix was available on day one, and now Hulu + is active as of yesterday.

While poking around Wii U’s Miiverse, I noticed that the Hulu + community was active and then went to find that an update was available for the app.

It seems though that the app was released hastily as Wii U users are complaining about lack of game pad support and tons of bugs.

It seems that the console and everything revolving around it was developed hastily. The Wii U is promising, but Nintendo (and other console/software developers) need to remember the old adage “haste makes waste”.
