GotGame Daily News Update: Black Friday Sales And More
Welcome to the GotGame Daily News Update for Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
First a couple of quick news bytes
Online passes are not required for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the Wii U.
EA’s Vice President Patrick Soderlund claims that DICE is working on other things besides Battlefield games. He says that EA doesn’t want DICE to become a Battlefield factory. oh but they are. They are.
And now back to your regularly scheduled news cast.
Black Friday is fast approaching. Screw Thanksgiving, I’ve got to tackle fifty people just to get a Christmas present at 30% off! Anyways, Best Buy has got what seems to be a lot of nice deals for video games going on:
All of the following games will be $25 each:
LittleBigPlanet Karting
Saint’s Row: The Third
007 Legends
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Dishonored
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Fable: The Journey
Sleeping Dogs
Speaking of deals…Steam is back to rob you blind this Thanksgiving. Starting today Steam’s Autumn sale is going on and will run until November 26. The games on sale today include:
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Magic: The Gathering
The Walking Dead
Darksiders II
Age of Empires III Complete
Terraria
Last but not least some Wii U news mixed with a dash of Reggie Fils-Aime. In an interview with the Mercury News, Fils-Aime was asked how selling the Wii U at a loss will affect Nintendo’s business model. To that he responded
“The business model doesn’t change dramatically, in that as soon as we get the customer to buy one piece of software, then that entire transaction becomes profit positive.”
There you have it folks, proof positive that Nintendo IS screwing us over with overpriced game sales…and a console that was supposed to do so much more when it launched.
That’s it for your GotGame Daily News Update for Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
