Fans of the Uncharted series will be pleased to hear that there will be a new game in the series hitting the PS Vita this December. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, a turn based card game has officially been announced by developer; Bend Studio.

Like many card based games, players must create a team that will include hero’s, villains, and mercenaries. Once you have created your team, you head off into battle against your opponents cards. There will be many power-up cards available as well so that you can give your teams and advantage over your opponent, As you progress through the game you will be able to find many hidden artifacts and treasures(over 300) that you can then add to your collection.

This is a far cry from previous Uncharted games, and it is not the first time a successful franchise has been turned into a turn based card game. Konami once tried this with its popular Metal Gear series, and in 2005 Metal Gear AC!D hit the shelves for the original PSP. Whether or not Uncharted: Fight for Fortune will be more popular remains to be seen. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune will be released on December 4th for just $4.99 and will be exclusive to the PS Vita.
