Next-Gen Xbox Details Revealed in Upcoming Issue of Xbox World

Xbox World will be going out of production in December, but before they close their doors they will reveal to the world the inside deets on the next Microsoft Console.

The magazine claims to have all of the inside information when it comes to the next gen console, and they have not been afraid to share that information with the masses. Xbox World has had some of the most cutting edge information in regards to project ‘Durango’ over the last 12 months, so it comes as no surprise that they claim to know what Microsoft has planned.

Microsoft’s next console will be known simply as “Xbox” with no numerical additions to its name. The console will feature a quad-core processer, 8GB of RAM, a Blu-Ray drive, next generation Kinect built in to the console, and the ability to support an augmented reality headset (think virtual reality) in the future.

Xbox World EIC Dan Dawkins said “Unless something really drastic changes, everything we reveal in our penultimate issue, will be what Microsoft reveals at E3

Are you surprised by the initial spec list of the new Xbox? Were you expecting more, or does it fall in line with what you were expecting? Let us know in the comment section below.
