SmartGlass for iOS Now Available

The killer new feature for Windows Phone, SmartGlass, had already been made available for download on Android devices late last week, but now the app which lets users control and share content with the Xbox 360 has made its way to the iPhone.

The free SmartGlass app is compatible with iPads, iPhones, and iPod’s running iOS 5.0 and above, but there is no native support for the iPhone 5 right now, which means you will have to live with the smaller formatting until an update is available. If you already had the Xbox Companion app and want to grab the SmartGlass app which replaces it, you can head over to iTunes to grab your free copy.

I have been using it on my Windows Phone and it works well. The interaction between Xbox and phone is great, and last nights election coverage really showed how this software can be utilized.
