The push to make Android devices the center of the gaming world continues today with the release of the PlayPad, and the PlayPad Pro from Nyko. The two controllers have just signed up for the mobile gaming battle and are ready for duty.

The PlayPad and the PlayPad Pro will both set you back $39.99, and both will be available in either black or white. While the controllers will work with any Android device (as long as you download the free Playground app) that is running 3.0 or higher, these two controllers have been optimized for devices that use Nvidia’s Tegra 3 processor such as the Nexus 7, and the HTC One X +. So, if you feel the need to use a dedicated controller with your Android device you might want to check these two pads out.
