Dynasty Warriors 8 to Feature 70 Playable Characters, Many More New Features
Information about the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 8 has been hard to come by, but a whole treasure trove of information has landed on our desks filled with information about the 8th installment of the popular franchise.
For those of you who like to have choices, you will be pleased to hear that there will be 70 playable characters in the newest installment. Now that’s a lot of choice! However, that is just the tip of the iceberg, because additional information about system mechanics and in-game content have also been revealed.
Fans of the franchise will be excited to hear that extra effort has been put into the story mode this go around, and that the game begins with the opening from the original Dynasty Warriors. Free mode has made a return to the series, and players will not have to follow such a linear path through the game because this installment will give you many choices when it comes to choosing the path you take.
Dynasty Warriors fans will also be pleased to hear that co-op modes have been improved upon, and that a story has been written specifically for co-op mode. There will also be several new game play modes(which have not yet been revealed). The Dynasty Warriors developers have also introduced a new feature called deferred lighting, which means that there will be more enemies on screen than ever before thanks to new code which requires less processing. They also point out that while overall difficulty will be low, the amount of action will be extremely high and satisfying.
It certainly sounds like Dynasty Warriors fans have a lot to look forward to when the game is released in 2013. What do you think about the new features? Are they enough to make you want to play the 8th installment of the franchise?
