46 Million Halo Games Sold Worldwide
With Halo 4 set to release next week, Microsoft has just released some figures that show just how popular this franchise is for them. To date, over 46 million Halo games have been sold worldwide, which has generated over $3 billion in Revenue for the Redmond, WA based company. Other impressive stats include the fact that over 5 billion hours have been played by gamers around the world since its original release, and that there are more than 120 million pieces of user generated content in Halo 3.
There is no doubt that these figures are impressive, and with Halo 4 (which is the most expensive game in Microsoft’s history) set to release next week, there is no telling just how much higher these numbers will rise in the coming week, and months ahead.
