Gameloft, who are undoubtedly one of the biggest mobile games developers, have announced that they will be backing Windows Phone 8 with the release of 12 top quality games for the platform. While these 12 games are already available on other platforms, it is a clear sign that Windows Phone is now being taken seriously by the developer community.

All of the games will be Xbox Live enabled, so gamers will be able to add more points to their gamerscore while they are on the go. The 12 games being released are

As you can see, there are no new titles that are exclusive to the Windows Phone platform, but the content that will be heading to Windows Phone will be welcomed with open arms by the fans of the mobile OS.

Along with the added ability to rack up your gamescore, users will also be able to access other features such as leaderboards, cloud storage, and online multi-player. It is nice to see the Windows Phone platform finally getting some good games, and I am sure that this is just the start of great games that will eventually arrive on the platform.
