Feeling Crafty? You Could Win a New 3DS XL and ‘Paper Mario: Sticker Star’

For those of you who often wonder, “You know, I kind of peaked in third grade… I wish there were more reasons to create dioramas,” Nintendo has the contest for you.

The Paper Mario series has always been known for its quirky and unique graphic styling, from its first iteration on the N64 to the series’ latest release, Super Paper Mario, for the Wii. So for their upcoming Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Nintendo is challenging fans to replicate the style of the games in a diorama contest.

Yes, the favorite art style of elementary-school science classes everywhere, the diorama, is getting its own contest, starting today and running to November 7.

Entrants will be judged on quality, creativity and spirit (how well a diorama captures the essence of the Paper Mario series). Five prize packages will be awarded which will include a brand new Nintendo 3DS XL and a copy of Paper Mario: Sticker Star, as well as Nintendo eShop gift certificates and a trophy… handcrafted and made from paper, of course.

To enter your photo or video of your diorama, or to find images from Paper Mario: Sticker Star, a “how to start” video from iam8bit, and full rules and regulations of the contest, click to the Paper Mario: Sticker Star Facebook page at http://papermario.nintendo.com/facebook.
