Qualcomm Atheros and MSI have announced that they have partnered together to offer mobile gamers a high-end online gaming experience, with top of the line networking capabilities on upcoming laptops thanks to new Killer DoubleShot technologies.
Killer DoubleShot is a new combination Killer technology devices. Killer DoubleShot features a Wireless-N1202 high performance 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi module with Bluetooth support, and the Killer E2200 high performance Ethernet controller. This combination will offer unprecedented performance in the mobile gaming, and networking worlds.
The first gaming laptop to feature Killer DoubleShot technologies will be the MSI GT70. The GT70 will be a feature packed gaming rig with a 17.3 inch screen, a blazing fast Intel Core-i7 361QM processor, and 12GB DDR3 RAM.
The speed of the GT70 will now be complimented with the fast networking capabilities that the DoubleShot will bring along with it. The Bundle will also come with Killer’s network management software, and Visual Bandwidth Control so that users can manage both incoming and outgoing traffic.
