Capcom Wants Your Real Life Memories for ‘Remember Me’
Capcom’s ‘Remember Me‘ will be released in May 2013, but Capcom is doing everything it can to increase excitement around their new IP. Capcom has announced that they will be running two competitions for their upcoming action game.
Capcom is already offering an opportunity for designers and creative thinkers to design billboard ads that would be placed in the world as part of the vibrant backdrop of Neo-Paris 2084. Contestants can point their browsers to “Adverts in 2084” where they can view the briefs for five of the fictional companies that will be featured in the game. Once you have selected the company you wish to promote, you will be tasked with creating a billboard to promote that brand to the citizens of Neo-Paris.
The next promotion, which started on October 25th, asks that you submit images of your favorite personal memories along with a short description of why that image is so important to you. The images that are submitted to Capcom will be chosen randomly to appear will in the ‘Memory Overload’ sequence, which are a result of pulling off one of Nilin’s special attacks.
These competitions are a bold move by Capcom, and it is a great way to build excitement around their new franchise, and get fans involved in the making of the game. The closing date for this promotion is November 29th.
