Halloween Content Added to 0.9 Patch for Ghost Recon Online
Ubisoft has released the new 0.9 patch for Ghost Recon Online, the F2P third-person online multiplayer shooter, which has added new features and Halloween-themed content.
One of the biggest additions to the game is Clans, which has been the most requested feature by the community, according to Ubisoft. While updates to the feature will be rolled out slowly, the 0.9 patch allows players to start forming their own clans while also using Clan Tags and Clan crests, which are customizable.
The next phase of Clans will happen in early 2013 with the introduction of the competitive elements. This is when players will be able to challenge other Clans in either ranked or unranked Clan matches. The results and stats from ranked Clan matches will also be tracked on Clan leader boards, to show one and all which clan is the best.
Players will also notice the Beginners Playlist, which will teach new players the game’s basics and allow them to slowly build up their skills.
Finally, with Halloween just around the corner, the Halloween Content Pack is also here, which adds Halloween skins to various weapons and different weapons stats. This will only be available for a limited time.
