Still Need to Pre-Order Wii U? Target To the Rescue!
Where are you, Wii U?
For some who may have put a little extra thought into the decision to pre-order Nintendo’s eighth-gen home console, or for those (like me) who couldn’t possibly throw cash at people fast enough but were rebuffed, there is still hope. Your days of going to video game retailers or big electronic stores only to get the big thumbs down are over.
Once again, the day is saved thanks to Le Bullseye Boutique.
Today, Target, purveyor of quality goods at affordable prices (because, let’s face it, post-25 Target just becomes that much cooler), has announced that they will now be accepting Wii U preorders.
Target will be accepting pre-orders for the 8GB basic white bundle, including the console and one Gamepad for $299.99, or the hard-to-find deluxe 32GB black bundle which will also include Nintendoland for $349.99. They’ll also be offering Wii U games such as Nintendoland a la carte, LEGO City Undercover, and New Super Mario Bros. U.
If you’re still undecided (because that’s chic in this political season) about the Wii U, Target’s there to help you too, as an estimated 1,000 Target stores will be receiving Wii U demo units for players to try before they pre-buy.
And if that wasn’t great enough, if you’re one of those lucky people with the Target REDCard, you save 5% on your pre-order and games. But like other retailers, the amount of pre-orders Target can take is limited, so if you haven’t reserved your copy, the time is now!
