YouTuber Of The Day – Retrogamer3

by on October 24, 2012

Hey guys,

Max here with our very first Youtuber of the day. This was not an easy decision to make because there are so many great youtubers out there with really great videos. If you make really good videos, chances are I’ve already seen them and it will only be a matter of time before you get to be Youtuber of the day, so don’t get discouraged and keep an eye on our official Facebook page, because your video just might show up there. Well it’s time to kick off the Youtuber of the day. Drum-roll please.

  • WHO IS THIS GUY?

Our first Youtuber of the day goes out the Ed Findlay (Better known as Retrogamer 3). Ed has been on the Youtube seen since July 18, 2008. He gained popularity by doing a review of The Angry Video Game Nerd’s first DVD. Since then he’s earned over 9000 subs and is gradually climbing.

  • WHAT KIND OF VIDEOS DOES HE/SHE MAKE?

Ed’s videos are mainly old school game reviews/retrospectives with some humor thrown into the mix. They’re always funny, yet informative; a trait not found often in game reviewers today. Ed also possess a great amount knowledge and respect for retro horror films such as Hellraser and Friday the 13th by incorporating such knowledge into his skits in the form of composition and editing. Ed almost never uses a script and truthfully he doesn’t need one because his passion for retro gaming feels so genuine, that reading a script can actually hurt its authenticity.

  • WHY SHOULD YOU WATCH HIS/HER STUFF?

Retrogmaer 3 is deffinetly someone you should check out. His passion for old school gaming really shines when you hear him talk about playing the featured game in his youth.  He’s witty, funny, and you feel like you can really connect with him like a close friend you’ve known for years.
