New, New iPad Announced, Fans Not So Happy
Today Apple unveiled it’s new iPad mini, but that wasn’t the only iDevice to get some spotlight on stage. The newest version of the iPad was unveiled for all to see.
As rumors previously suggested, the new tablet has a lightning dock connector. It also has an A6x processor as well as a new front facing camera and LTE capabilities. The pricing is the same as the iPad that was announced back in March.
Not much new here, except for fan backlash about the new iDevice. According to the Washington Post, fans have taken to Twitter to complain about how lackluster their iPad 3’s are looking right now.
One dissapointed fan said “And to think, I was happily using my iPad 3 just this morning, Maybe I can use it to level a piece of furniture or something.”
And another simply said “For shame Apple, for shame”.
On the bright side this new iPad will work on Sprint networks, that is if you have LTE in your area. Unfortunately for us SF Bay Area folk there is no such thing as Sprint LTE yet.
