Sega Bringing Five Arcade Titles to XBLA, PSN

Sega has revealed plans to bring five classic titles back to XBLA and PSN.

All five titles were released on the “Model 2” arcade system in Japan.

So far, it’s been confirmed that Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers and Sonic the Fighters will be out in Japan this year for 800 Microsoft Points each. Of particular interest is the Sonic fighting game, which will feature Honey the Cat as a playable character after she was cut from the arcade version.

Also confirmed as part of the Model 2 games being released are Virtua Striker and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On.

No US confirmation has been given yet, but it should be noted that many of the Sega rereleases on console have made its way stateside.
