Batman is a legendary superhero, as is Superman and Wonder Woman. Usually, they might be found beating the tar out of villains like Harley Quinn or Solomon Grundy; this coming April, they’ll be beating the tar out of each other.

Today, the day before the New York Comic Con, a new face has entered the foray, fighting heroes, villains, and potentially for his spot in the sun.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment confirmed that Oliver Queen AKA The Green Arrow will be a playable fighter in the upcoming comic book-based fighting title Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Little more information was revealed; however, a playable demo featuring the Green Arrow will be available at DC Entertainment’s booth at the New York Comic Con October 11-14.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is slated for an April 2013 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
