Remember when the first Crazy Taxi hit the arcades in the late 1990’s and, subsequently, the Dreamcast? Remember driving around for hours like crazy and literally racing against the clock? That kind of reckless driving could very well earn you a star or two in Grand Theft Auto. But here? Things were kept simple. Just get from point A to point B as fast as possible, make the customers smile and earn all the cash you can get. Oh, there were stunts too!

SEGA has announced that Crazy Taxi is coming to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. When? There’s no exact release date, but we’re guessing it’s going to be really soon! They’ve come up with this really short teaser, which – in my opinion – sums up the news pretty well. Here, take a look:

There’s no word currently wheter the game will be coming to Android devices as well, but we’re hoping for the best. It’s likely to say the least – whenever that may be though. Apple users, in the mean time, can cheer and look forward to a trippy ride on the streets of California! Vroom, vroom!
