Coolest 3D Space Nebula Image Ever
Are there even any others before this? Either way this is awesome. J-P Metsävainio, a Finnish astronomical photographer, created this experimental simulated image of what the IC 1396 nebula would look like if you were able to move around it fast enough to actually get a sense of depth. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, a picture like this is worth a few more. 😛
