Angry Birds Going to a Galaxy Far Far Away November 8
So, it looks like the Angry Birds franchise continues into the next iteration by molding their squawkers into the world famous Star Wars characters from the first three films. That´s right, Angry Birds Star Wars is happening and it will come to IOS, Android, Kindle Fire, PC (including Windows 8) and Windows 8 Phones on November 8, 2012.
According to Lucasfilm licensing and consumer products marketing VP Paul Southern,
“the birds are not just dressed up as Star Wars characters, but they do have “personalities which are kind of similar” to their counterparts.
The game uses the physics of Angry Birds Space and the fun of the Original Angry Birds, but is set on recognizable locations from the Star Wars series.
In addition to the game, Rovio and Lucas Arts have announced a merchandise partnership set to begin October 28, 2012, which will include collectible action figures, plush dolls, Halloween costumes, and clothes.
Here is a teaser trailer for the game:
Maybe, I should check out the recently released Angry Birds Collection on Xbox Live and finally figure out what is so addicting about Angry Birds.
