Flock of Seagulls “I Ran” and Two Billy Squier Singles Headed to Rock Band

Harmonix will introduce two new artists to Rock Band on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 when 80´s New Wave Band Flock of Seagulls bring their biggest hit “I Ran” from their eponymous 1982 debut album (also famous for being one of the theme songs in Grand Theft Auto Vice City) to Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz. Also joining from the 80´s is one of the greatest singer/songwriters to ever exist in Billy Squier. Two of his greatest hits join the platform with “Everybody Wants You” from his 1982 album Emotions in Motion and “Stroke” from his 1981 debut Album Don´t Say No (let the innuendos begin now.)

All three tracks will be available as singles on the Rock Band Music Store; a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass Upgrade will be available for “The Stroke.”

Additionally, Rock Band Blitz players who play any of these tracks will earn double coins for each play, as well as double coins for each time they play Billy Squier’s “Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You,” which was previously released on the Rock Band Music Store!

Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system (October 9th, 2012):

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system October 10th)

Tracks marked with “X” will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.
