Fans Petition Konami for Suikoden on PSN

I have kind of a soft spot for the kinds of grassroots movements that are becoming commonplace in the world of gaming.  Such movements have shown some success in recent history.  Mass Effect 3 fans organized to get a somewhat competent ending to Mass Effect 3, while Operation Rainfall may have had something to do with the eventual stateside release of Xenoblade and The Last Story.

As reported by Destructoid, the latest fan movement focuses around Suikoden, a strategy RPG series that started on the PS1.  The first two entries are hard to find PS1 titles, and the second could cost well over 100 dollars if you want to play it legitimately. Fans have banded together at the Facebook page Suikoden Revival Movement to try and convince Konami to release the game worldwide to the PSN.  If you’re a fan of the franchise, head on over to help out the cause.  Good luck guys!
