Nintendo has made a big deal out of the “Miiverse,” Nintendo´s platform that tries to bring social media and games together right out of the box for the Wii U.
Reggie Fils-Aime told All Things D.
“As the network grows and the installed base grows, it will prove to be a true killer application for the system.”
“Until you try it and experience it, you may not totally understand it. People have to leave the current paradigm behind to understand what we are trying to do.
If you still do not understand what Miiverse is, Nintendo says it will be a virtual lobby where avatars can walk around, while players can interact and share their opinions using speech bubbles and the best thing is it will be free to anyone who purchases a Wii U.
