I’ll admit, I’m kinda excited about the release of Pokemon Black and White: Version 2. If you’re excited too, and you’re living in the New York City area, you’ve got even more reasons to get pumped. Nintendo will be running a special Pokemon-themed event at New York Comic-Con, and you can even buy the game early at the Nintendo World store if you’re lucky.
Nintendo issued a press release stating that they would have representatives present in New York to run the event where trainers old and new alike could come out to celebrate the game’s release. On October 6th from 9AM to 2PM fans can enter at Nintendo World for the chance to win a copy of Pokemon Black and White: Version 2 a day early. Also, the first 1000 people in line to purchase either game will get a special Pokemon scarf. The following week at Comic-Con there will be plenty of Pokemon-themed activities including “live performances from the Chicago-based band I Fight Dragons, a live stage show, a Pokémon photo booth, an opportunity to receive the mythical Pokémon Genesect for attendees who bring their Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo DS and copy of the game, hands-on time with Pokédex 3D Pro for Nintendo 3DS prior to its Nov. 8 launch and live Pokémon-themed ice sculpting.”
That’s a whole lot of Pokemon-madness, or perhaps Pokemadness? Go on, go catch ’em all.
