In other legal battle news, Samsung triumphed over Apple today in a court ruling. The Korean based company’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 was put under a temporary sales ban until further notice. Now, that ban has been lifted.

The jury had found that the patent in question that Samsung had allegedly violated was not being infringed and therefor the judge ruled in favor of Samsung. Samsung had this to say about the ruling.

We are pleased with the court’s action today, which vindicates our position that there was no infringement of Apple’s design patent and that an injunction was not called for.

Yeah, not called for indeed. It just seems like all of these companies, Samsung included, are suing for minor things like chat clients and screens bouncing when you hit the bottom of the page. If we would stop fighting each other and start working together we might have time machines by now people! Come on!
