Basketball fans in New York have a chance to check out NBA 2K13 on a big screen tonight before its release.

2K Sports and Clear Channel Spectacolor are teaming up to let fans play the game from 6-10 p.m. tonight in Times Square on a 50 foot billboard.

“People love video games, but it will be a gamer’s dream to be able to play the new NBA 2K13 on a 50 foot digital screen in the middle of Times Square,” said Michael Steinberg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Clear Channel Spectacolor. “Times Square is all about unique experiences, and playing this exciting new game on the largest screen anyone will be able to play a video game will be a very unique experience you can only get in New York.”

The screen will be at 46th Street and Broadway.

In addition, the event will feature multiple giveaways, including an Xbox 360, NBA jerseys and more than 300 basketballs.
