The uber-creepy Slender, which won over many gamers this year with its scary-as-hell premise, despite it’s 90’s-ish design, is getting a commercial re-release, according to the game’s official website.
The original game, created by Mark Hadley, put gamers in the pitch black woods, with the goal of finding eight pages, while trying to avoid Slender Man at all costs. Looking at him too long or running into him would make you insane and ends the game.
The next version of the game, dubbed Slender: The Arrival, will feature more levels, a deeper storyline and improved visuals, as seen in the screenshots above and below. The game is being planned for ao PC released and is being developed by ParsecProductions and Blue Isle Studios.
