The Final Fantasy series is known for many things, including crazy-great graphics, lovable creatures, and dastardly villains. But they’re also known for some of their absurd weapons, and the most icon ridiculous weapon is Cloud’s Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. According to some research done by a YouTube contributor, it seems that Cloud’s Buster Sword actually is fathomable as a usable weapon.

GotGame reader Rich Hunt nosed us in the direction of this video posted by VSauce3. He answers many video game questions by using logic and real-world comparisons, and I’ll admit that I’m pretty sold on his Buster Sword analysis. Don’t think I’ll be using one myself in any future sword battles, though; without Materia to toss in there I think I’d be out of luck.
