Disney Interactive revealed “A Whole New World” today for one of its upcoming games. (Sometimes these lines just write themselves.)

Disney’s electronic entertainment arm revealed a new area for Mickey Mouse to explore in the upcoming 3DS title Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion themed after Agrabah, the land of Aladdin and Jasmine.

Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion focuses on the fabled Castle of Illusion, which old-skool gamers may remember from the early days of the Sega Genesis, has wound up in Wasteland, and Oswald needs Mickey’s help to rid the realm of forgotten Disneyana of the wicked witch Mizrabel. Combining 3D transformation capabilities and dual-screen integration, the game pays homage to the Illusion series of games as one of the first video games to enter Wasteland.

Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion drops for the Nintendo 3DS later this year.
