According to Joystiq, Twitch.tv has received $15 million from an investment firm to expand its eSports streaming. Twitch VP of Marketing Matthew DiPietro says the money will allow the company to expand its engineering team and improve its live video streaming services.

Twitch states it now has over 20 million unique viewers per month. The site has raised $23 million to date, with a small seed round in 2005 and an $8 million investment as Justin.tv back in 2007.

This is really cool for those that enjoy watching things on Twitch.TV it is really nice to see internet companies get big investments like this.
