iOS 6: Disaster or Success?
From the looks of it, iOS 6 has not been getting the best reviews. People all across twitter are saying how craptacular it is, I even saw one ask his twitter followers how to change back to iOS 5. The main complaint that I’ve been hearing are the fantastically failing map app that replaces Google Maps for the iOS. An example can be seen below. You can check out more courtesy of Gizmodo:
Yikes, don’t you wish you were friendly with Google again Apple? Probably not…but still…Google IS the master of maps. You should really be nice to them.
Not only that but there are other problems with the device as well. According to Yahoo, consumers are also reporting battery usage problems, complaining about Passbook not being able to do what it is supposed to do, and what seems to be a bug that renders iDevices unable to connect to wifi. That Android 4.1 Jelly Bean isn’t looking too bad right now is it?
Despite the deluge of iOS screwups, a large number of people are actually downloading iOS 6 to their devices. Whether these people have heard about the iOS 6 failures or not is still up to debate. TechCrunch is reporting a massive spike in downloads occurred once the update went live, which could only mean two things. Either they went to download a lot of NSFW or cat videos, or they downloaded iOS 6. Apple wants to agree with the latter.
Who has downloaded iOS 6 yet? Is it clunky and just plain wacky? Or do you happen to like the update? Leave a comment in the comment section below to let us know!

I updated to iOS 6 sort of by accident and now may as well throw my iPad 2 out because nothing works properly anymore
i’ll take it
Maps is OK…didn’t like having to download the YouTube app separately, but overall, I dig the new layout and functionality.
I like it. A lot of subtle changes here and there. Maps doesn’t seem as bad as people are making it out to be.
Hated the update… Want to go back to ios5… But I don’t have the software in my computer 🙁
