Samsung GALAXY Note II Coming to Sprint

Sprint users will be able to pick up the Samsung GALAXY Note II later this fall.

The Note II will be able to use Sprints 4G LTE network when it launches with the Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, the first Sprint device to feature that operating system.

In addition, the smartphone will feature a display larger than 5 inches and a quad-core processor, both firsts for Sprint.

“We are very excited to bring this unique and innovative device into the Sprint lineup with the benefit of Sprint’s Truly Unlimited data plans,” said Fared Adib, Sprint vice president-Product Development. “Sprint’s unlimited data plans are the perfect match for GALAXY Note II because our customers can enjoy the huge screen, fast LTE support and other creative features without worrying about costly overages or sharing data.”

The phone will come in Marble White or Titanium Gray when it releases this fall. No price point has been set yet.

Gah! Why does this phone have to have such a far away release date? I’m looking to upgrade and was going to go for the Galaxy Nexus, cheap and it’s pretty powerful. However, I like the features of the note and have been looking for a phone like it that can take stylus input. Although the note is probably going to cost a bajillion dollars. Probably should stick with the nexus, or not?
