The one thing that sucks about Android is the fact that not all Android phones get an update to the latest OS. A lot of phones are stuck back in the Stone Age of Android Gingerbread while a select few are in the new age of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. You might think that because of that, Android support would be sinking. Well a study by Chikita Insights says otherwise.
The graph above shows internet usage on phones that currently use the Jelly Bean OS. The study was done over about two months and the results seem astounding, a 1500% increase over those two months.
It is very unfortunate that Google doesn’t do as Apple and keep their users up to date on their OS but I guess that’s what happens when you’ve got too many projects going on. One can hope though.
