We Might Not Be Seeing Mega Man Online

Capcom recently released information that they planned to take the Blue Bomber to the net in a new social game dubbed Mega Man Online (Rockman Online is its formal name in S. Korea), but new information indicates that may not be the case.

The rumor mill is churning, and it’s based on the fact that Rockman Online‘s lead artist is currently on the job hunt. According to Kotaku, Kang Dong Hwa has mentioned on his blog that his project has been put on the shelf, though he doesn’t mention Rockman Online by name.

Seems like there really hasn’t been much good news for Mega Man and Co. lately. Legends 3 got scrapped, and now this…could this be the end of Mega Man?

This would be highly disappointing. Seems like the Blue Bomber can’t catch a break lately.
