Sony Trying to Get Dawnguard on the PS3

Kotaku reports that Sony has been in talks with Bethesda about getting Dawnguard, the latest DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim onto the PlayStation 3.

This should be somewhat good news to PS3 owners who recently were told that the DLC may never actually make it onto the PS3, which has been on the Xbox 360 since June.

Speaking to the outlet, Sony VP Adam Boyes explained what his team has been up to regarding Dawnguard’s absence on the console.

“We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems,” said Boyes. “We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda—and with all of our partners—to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way.”

“Of course, I always want everything to work always for everyone. I can’t promise any kind of resolution or timeline but can say that everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working.”

Let’s all hope that this whole issue gets resolved and PS3 owners get to enjoy more Skyrim goodness.
