New Dates Announced for The Legend of Zelda: Symphony Of The Goddess

As part of Zelda’s 25th anniversary extravaganza, Nintendo held a special concert series featuring orchestrated music from the series.  The Symphony of the Goddess is a four piece suite that covers the stories of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword.  Sorry Majora’s Mask.  If you haven’t yet had the chance to check out the concert, Nintendo has added more performances.  The dates and locations are as follows.

Sept. 15: Toronto; Sony Centre for the Performing Arts

Sept. 22: Minneapolis; Orpheum Theatre

Oct. 12: Dallas; AT&T Performing Arts Center

Oct. 18: Boston; Wang Theatre

Oct. 25: Chicago; The Chicago Theatre

Nov. 3: San Antonio; The Majestic Theatre

Nov. 6: Calgary, Alberta; Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium

Nov. 28: New York; The Theater at Madison Square Garden

Dec. 8: West Palm Beach, Fla.; Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Dec. 9: Miami; Adrienne Arsht Center

Dec.14: San Jose, Calif.; San Jose Civic

Hopefully, this tour will come to a city near you. If you’re a Club Nintendo member, you’ll get a 15% discount on tickets.   In addition, Zelda fans in the New York area can head over to the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan for a special event regarding the concert.  The event will include a workshop on the Ocarina itself, a chance to talk with some of the musicians who are part of the orchestra, and a more intimate musical performance.  This event will be held on September 14th at 6:00-9:00 PM.  The first guests in attendance will receive an Ocarina and a special Symphony of the Goddess workshop.
