According to Destructoid, Sega renewed the trademark for Skies of Arcadia. I am really hoping this means we could get an HD remake, a re-release of the original Dreamcast title or even a sequel sometime in the near future as it is one of my favorites games ever. The acclaimed JRPG is one of SEGA’s most requested HD remakes outside of Shenmue, so there could easily be a possibility that SEGA will do something with the franchise soon.

Skies of Arcadia did receive a port onto the Gamecube, but that was many moons ago. I am sure it would make SEGA mondo money if they put it on Xbox Live Arcade, Nintendo Network, and PSN.
